Usually, the Queen's birthday on the 21st of April is celebrated with a private affair between a few members of the royal family, but this year it will happen with a musical concert in which 2.3 billion of the world population will be represented. How's that?!...
According to The Telegraph, there are plans for a musical celebration, held at the Royal Albert Hall, set to take place between 16-20 April. That week will take place the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in London, an event tat will bring together the leaders of all 53 Commonwealth members to discuss global challenges. A dinner will be hosted by Her Majesty at Buckingham Palace and it is likely to be the last meeting she attends. Her first was in Ottawa in 1973.
The birthday concert seems to be broadcast by the BBC and organised by the Commonwealth Society.
