British designer Jonathan Anderson collaborates once again with Converse and the result is 'Simply_Complex'. For him this is a work of love and obsession. The new collection features new takes on the Thunderbolt and Chuck Taylor 70 silhouettes, with a focus on the textures and materials of the shoes.
The Thunderbolt comes in two asymmetrical versions, with one being a tonal brown/beige colorway while the other comes in denim. The Chuck 70s are inspired by traditional brown menswear shoes, and come in the same color palette as the suede Thunderbolts.
To launch the shoes, the two brands recruited Larry Clark to direct a trailer shot in Marseille.

O Thunderbolt vem em duas versões assimétricas, sendo uma delas uma mistura de tons marrom / bege, enquanto que a outra vem em denim. Os Chuck 70s seguem inspiração de sapatos tradicionais masculinos e vêm na mesma paleta de cores que os Thunderbolt de camurça.
Para o lançamento da campanha, as duas marcas recrutaram Larry Clark para realizar o pequeno vídeo gravado em Marselha.
