Beatriz's first time at the Lisbon Zoo and my return after 20 years... Great excitement!
Barral inaugurated a new space - Baby Barral Space - dedicated to all children and their parents. It is a house with a nursery zone, feeding area and for breastfeeding. There are microwaves, baby chairs, Barral Baby Protect and Barral DermaProtect products. The space will be working every day, with the same timetable of the Zoo. If the door is closed, just touch the bell.
In the Lisbon's Zoo live about two thousand animals of 300 species, most of them in danger of extinction in their natural habitat. Every visit we make to this zoo, one of the most beautiful zoos in Europe, contributes to this precise mission of protection of all animals.
The Zoo was inaugurated in 1884 and was the first park with fauna and flora of the Iberian Peninsula. Numerous consignments of animals from Africa and Brazil have contributed to the Zoo having one of the largest and most diverse collections of animals in the world over the years. The Veterinary Hospital opened in 2008 and was considered the best in Europe.

A Barral inaugurou um novo espaço - Espaço Bebé Barral - dedicado a todas as crianças e respetivos pais. Trata-se de uma casa com zona de fraldário, zona de alimentação e para amamentação. Há microondas, cadeiras para bebés, e produtos Barral Baby Protect e Barral DermaProtect. O espaço vai estar a funcionar todos os dias, com o mesmo orário do Jardim Zoológico. Se a porta estiver fechada, basta tocar à campaínha.
No Jardim Zoológico de Lisboa vivem cerca de dois mil animais de 300 espécies, a maioria delas em perigo de extinção no seu habitat natural. Cada visita que fizermos a este que é um dos mais belos jardins zoológicos da Europa, contribui para esta missão de proteção de todos os animais.
Este Zoo foi inaugurado em 1884 e foi o primeiro parque com fauna e flora da Península Ibérica. As inúmeras remessas de animais vindos de África e do Brasil contribuíram para que, ao longo dos anos, o Jardim Zoológico tivesse uma das coleções de animais mais vastas e diversificadas do mundo. O Hospital Veterinário inaugurado em 2008, foi considerado o melhor da Europa.
