Starbucks has just launched the new limited edition Vanilla Matcha Tea Latte, available until May 8.
With the arrival of spring, the brand has prepared this launch very appealing in the eyes of all of us. But what is this green drink after all, called Vanilla Matcha Tea Latte? It is precisely a drink made with whole leaf green tea, milk and a slight vanilla flavor.
"Matcha" literally means "tea powder" and is created with the best leaves of green tea, vaporizing them so that they do not oxidize and do not lose their color, letting the leaves dry so that, when aging, they create nuances of flavor and finally crushing them. In its preparation, by dissolving the powder directly into the water, we consume the entire tea leaf, which makes when drinking this combination, we have access to all its wonderful properties.
Some of the benefits go through their plant compounds that act as natural antioxidants, helping to cleanse the body as well as its energetic and calming nature.
The new matcha is available in three versions: warm, for the shy spring days, iced or Frappuccino version, for the more sunny days that ask for a good refreshment. Each drink costs € 3.30.
