Wouldn't that be the dream of all of us? It has been going on for more than 20 years since Richard Curtis's famous film made us fall in love with Notting Hill, and since then this neighborhood is almost a mecca.
Now, Richard Curtis ('Notting Hill' director) has revealed that he plans a sequel to the much-loved romance between Anna Scott and William Thacker. Released in 1999, the film starred Julia Roberts as an Hollywood actress , who falls for a bookshop owner played by Hugh Grant. “I’m going to talk to Julia about it sometime soon,” the writer told the Daily Mirror at an event.
Curtis has previously revived two of his most famous films, 'Love Actually' and 'Four Weddings and a Funeral', for Comic Relief. 'One Red Nose Day and a Wedding' saw the original cast, including Grant, Kristen Scott Thomas and Andie Macdowell, reunite for the first time in 25 years for a short sequel, which also starred Lily James and Alicia Vikander. Grant also featured in 'Red Nose Day Actually' in 2017, reprising his famous role as the Prime Minister opposite Martine McCutcheon.
Meanwhile, Julia Roberts, if we remember, has suggested that she should no longer star in romantic comedies, unless she plays one of “the parents of the people that are rom-com-ing.”
