It's Lady Gabriella Windsor’s wedding and it's tomorrow! She's the daughter of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent and is about to marry Thomas Kingston. This might be the society event of the spring. This Royal Wedding has a lot in common with Meghan Markle's.
1. The engagement annoncement You may have missed it, because 2018 wasn’t exactly short of royal events. Buckingham Palace sent out a statement on 19th September, shortly before Princess Eugenie’s nuptials, revealing the engagement news. The engagement took place in August; Mr Kingston proposed on the Isle of Sark.
2. What they do Lady Gabriella (known as ‘Ella') is a Senior Director at Branding Latin America, a brand-positioning platform that specialises in the region. She's also a writer and contributes to The London Magazine. Though she is a royal, she is 50th in line for the throne, so there’s little chance of her taking on many royal duties. She is occasionally seen with the rest of the family at official events.Tom, works in frontier market investment and is a Director of Devonport Capital.
3. When is the wedding? The wedding is set to take place on Saturday 18th May. That's almost a year to the day since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's wedding.
4. Where is the wedding taking place? Following in the footsteps of Harry and Meghan, and Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank, Lady Gabriella and Thomas are to wed at St George’s Chapel, Windsor. Apparently, t’s likely to be pretty low-key with no carriage procession or members of the public set to be invited into the grounds of Windsor Castle.

The guests As a relation to the Queen, there are a number of expected royal guests at Gabriella and Tom’s wedding, including her parents, Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, brother Lord Frederick Windsor and sister-in-law, Sophie Windsor. Gabriella and Tom were both guests at Princess Eugenie’s wedding so we expect them to make an appearance too. We also expect that Pippa Middleton and James Matthews will be there - Pippa and Tom were once an item and the couples are close friends. According to Daily Mail he actually used to date Pippa Middleton back in 2011. But things don’t seem to be too awkward, since Gabriella and Tom attended Pippa’s wedding to James Matthews last year. The wedding will be attended by Her Majesty The Queen, accompanied by Members of the Royal Family. However, as Meghan is currently with her newborn son, it's unlikely that she'll be in attendance.
6. The reception… It’s been reported that the newlyweds will throw their wedding reception at Frogmore House, the same venue Harry and Meghan chose for their party.
7. Which Tiara will she wear in the big day? She may choose to follow in the footsteps of recent royal brides, like the Duchess of Sussex and Princess Eugenie, who both borrowed pieces from the Queen’s collection, or have something specially made, as did her sister-in-law, Lady Frederick Windsor, who added a matching comb for her veil. As for who might help her put on her tiara on the big day – rumour has it that Belgravia hairdresser Stephen Casali is a dab hand at placing tiaras – having done three of the guests at the Royal Caledonian Ball earlier this month.
