The Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Sussex went together to watch the ladies' singles final at Wimbledon. The royal pair were joined in the Royal Box on Centre Court by Kate's sister Pippa Middleton, where they watched Serena Williams take on Romania's Simona Halep.
Both duchesses have strong connections to the event: Kate is the royal patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, which hosts Wimbledon, and Meghan was supporting finalist and good friend Serena Williams. It was, however, a sad day for Serena Williams as she lost the final.
Kate wore a green Dolce & Gabbana dress with gold buttons adorning the front, the same she previously wore during her 2016 state visit to Canada. The duchess accessorized her look with Asprey’s Woodland Oak Leaf earrings, and her favorite Ray-Ban shades.
Meghan wore a pleated Hugo Boss skirt for the occasion, with her hair pulled back into a sleek ponytail. She was carrying a Stella McCartney bag, and a white shirt by Givenchy, she previously wore it to the Endeavour Awards. The duchess completed the look with her Jennifer Meyer turquoise earrings.
Apparently, Pippa's dress is by Anna Mason and it's made-to-order. She completed the look with her Garrard Petal Ear Climbers, some Ray-Ban shades, and a Cartier watch.
Both keen tennis fans, this isn't the first time the two women have attended the championship together. They sat in the Royal Box alongside each other for the ladies' final last year.
But who else was in the Royal Box with Duchesses Meghan and Kate? Doctor Who star Jodie Whiitaker was joined by her husband, US actor Christian Contreras; actress Lily James; Theresa May also took some time away from Downing Street to enjoy the Women's Singles Final with her husband Philip; US actor Woody Harrelson accompanied by his wife Laura Louie; among others...
